Where can I find a surgeon that removes apocrine glands in the axilla?
I am trying to have surgery to remove the apocrine glands in my armpit because I have bromhidrosis. Bromhidrosis is foul smelling sweat that is not relieved by regular washing and the use of deodorant. I am trying to find a surgeon that does this surgery so I can finally get my life back.
Botox only works on the eccrine glands. Not on the apocrine glands. That is the same thing with deodorant. It only works on the eccrine glands. Bromhidrosis affects the apocrine glands. If all other treatments fail, which they have, then surgery is the best option.
