Worrying about sweating causes more sweating…?
I’ve recently changed my antidepressants and have started sweating over night and also whilst at work. I’ve since changed my tablets again, but worrying about sweating seems to be causing it to continue despite not feeling hot and washing/showering etc every morning.
This is making me really uncomfortable and paranoid at work as whilst i’m aware i’m not smelling, my armpits feel damp and sweat patches keep forming. I’m trying to relax and not think about it, but i’m starting dreading go to work and being around people in case they notice.
Does anyone know of anything I can do to try stop this? I’m convinced it’s a nerves thing now and no longer side effects of tablets.
Worrying will make it worse. You just have to think it’s okay let it run it’s course and it will stop alot quicker. The more you worry the more it will happen.
