Anyone heard of botox for armpits?
I read about how many people (including celebrities) are getting botox for their armpits. Sounds funny, but it actually stops underarm sweating for a certain period. Might be cool for the summertime. Anybody tried that or know about it?
I can see how it might seem vain, and nitpicky, but really it’s not for beauty or appearance. I think it might help people to feel more confident if they sweat a lot or are not satisfied with the deordorants availble. Hey, I’d like to stay more dry in the hot summers!
I used to work for a dermatologist that did this procedure all the time. There are no ill-effects from it and it is not “bad” for you. I probably would have had it done, but couldn’t deal with the numerous needle sticks in the armpits!!!! OUCH!
