Why You Should Use a Car Air Purifier
The air inside a car is normally full of pollutants like vinyl fumes, allergens, cigarette smoke and even car exhaust. A car air purifier is an easy way to remove these impurities from the air. Using these small devices is simple. For many types, all you have to do is plug them into your cigarette lighter socket, and you’re good to go.
A common type of car purifier works by ionizing the air. The negatively-charged ions attach to the pollutants and cause them to fall from the air. Once out of the air, the irritants can no longer get into your air passageways, so you are no longer bothered. Since odors are actually caused by airborne particles and fumes, using an air purifier also makes the air smell nicer.
Another type of purifier for your car works by being attached to the vent of the car. These use technology which oxidizes the air as it passes through them. This destroys bacteria and other unwanted particles, thereby cleaning and deodorizing the air inside the car.
Yet another variety of car air purifier uses a filter to remove the air pollution from a car. These are similar to building air filters in that they trap pollution, rather than destroying it or changing its electrical charge.
You can buy a car air purifier at many online stores. Offline, most if not all consumer-oriented auto parts stores will sell them. They are relatively inexpensive, ranging from $30-$40. Even for cars which came with filters in their ventilation systems, a new car air purifier can be a good idea. It is cheaper than replacing factory filters in many cases.
