Cat’s Yeast Infection. Anyone knows a remedy for it?
I found a stray cat last night and it is a Blue Persian. It is in a very bad condition. I took it home and cleaned it. But I notice it emits a very foul body odor;Like the smell of a stinky gym shoes, even after I got it all cleaned. It also has rashes all over it’s body and face and it’s ears are thick and spongy. I suspect it’s got yeast infection. I wanted to take the cat to the vet but the vet won’t be available until Saturday. So I was just wondering if there’s any home remedy I can use and follow to treat the cat. And is there any specific food that I cannot give the cat for the time being? and will the smell come off or do I have to live with it?I need an answer. Thank You
This cat sounds like it needs to see a vet before saturday. Call around and make an appointment with a different vet. Based on your description it sounds like the cat has aural hematomas, which needs to be drained, and he might have ear infections as well. Any cat that has rashes all over its body is not comfortable, and denying medical attention until the weekend isn’t fair to him.
