The Myths Around Body Odor
Experts would like us to believe that body odor is caused by the bacteria living on the skin. When a person sweats this bacteria begins to multiply and breaks down the acid of the sweat, thus causing body odor.
So sweating has been labeled as something bad, and embarrassing, and should be stopped. And so we mask the odor with metalic deodorants, and stop the sweating altogether with antiperspirants. But sweating is not the issue, and neither is the bacteria living on the skin’s surface.
The odor is caused by the toxins living inside the body; the sweat simply brings these toxins out of the body through the skin; and as the toxins are emitted, the odor arises. Thus sweating is good for you, and should actually be promoted, instead of trying to stop it.
Sweat Glands
The body has two different kinds of sweat glands which have two very different purposes, and therefore produce two different kinds of sweat.
The Eccrine glands are located almost all over the body, and their main purpose is to control the temperature, especially in hot weather and during exercise. The sweat produced by these glands is high in salt, and therefore is usually odorless.
The Apocrine glands are located in the armpits, and groin area, and the purpose of these glands is to eliminate the toxins from the body. That is why the foul odor usually arises from these two areas. The sweat produced from these glands is high in protein.
Now according to medical professionals the reason the sweat from the Eccrine glands is odorless, is because of the high salt content, and the bacteria is unable to break down the acids from this sweat.
But the truth is that these glands are not designed to bring out the toxins from the body, and so even though you are toxic, this sweat may not smell. It has nothing to do with bacteria.
And according to them, the reason the sweat from the armpits and groin areas are smelly, is because the sweat contains a high amount of protein, which is easily broken down by the bacteria.
They are right when they say it contains a lot of protein, but where does the protein come from? The answer is simple, it comes from the red meat in our diets. This meat is toxic to our bodies, and so when we sweat, these toxins have to come out; they may smell good when they go in, but they sure don’t smell so good when they come out.
There are also many other foods like fast food, processed foods, refined sugars, milk and poultry which are also toxic and will cause body odor when they are emitted from the body. What goes into the body, must come out.
Therefore if you want to eliminate body odor, simply stick to a clean, raw and living food diet.
