Is there any way to sweat less? (Maybe pills, procedure, operation, eating smth…)?
I am a guy that sweats a lot, is there a way to stop sweating, or to prevent it at some occattions? Please let me know
There is a medical condition, Hyperhidrosis, where you sweat excessively. I posted a video from Web MD on a surgical procedure that can be performed to stop it.
Also, botox injections have been used to stop sweating. Mostly used in the armpits, doctors have also started using it, in special cases, on hands. “Botox contains a tiny amount of the botulinum toxin. When used to treat severe underarm sweating, it stops the release of a chemical messenger called acetylcholine, temporarily blocking the nerves in the underarm that stimulate sweating.” (Web MD)
Other than those serious procedures, I think the best way to keep from sweating too much is to just be prepared. If you dress in layers, you can always take something off if you become too hot. Also, keeping a handkerchief with you would probably be a good idea. But remember, sweating is a natural thing your body does to cool off. Drink plenty of water and try to get cool whenever you can.
